Four Point Inspections
These are almost always required by the insurance companies prior to them issuing insurance. Implemented after Hurrican Andrew in 1992, it reduces the loss risk on homeowners insurance policies. The inspection includes: the Roof, the Electric System, the HVAC System, & the Plumbing. This inspection is not as comprehensive as the complete home inspection but will satisfy the insurance companies needs.
Wind Mitigation
As of July 1st 2007, the state of Florida requires insurance companies to reduce their rates for wind resistant features. This service provided by NE Coastal Inspections can reduce your total premium by a considerable amount, and most insurance companies don't even tell you about it!
